Fuji has now retired and live with a loving family in Queensland Australia. She has the company of her son Boshi and is truly spoilt like a princess.
Our little Miss Purrfection Fuji came from our very good friend Jann Merchant of Tristone Cattery. Fuji was born on 1 December 2005.
She is black shaded and has fantastic head type and coat colour and condition. She has proven to be a tough competitor in the show ring.
If you look at her show results below you will see that Fuji has won numerous Best of Breed titles and several top 5 placings. This was very challenging in the earlier years as Burmillas were not popular on the show bench and the judges were still getting used to the breed. Despite this, Fuji was consistently placed in side class competitions such as "Best Coat Colour and Condition" and "Best Head Type".
In 2010, Fuji gained her Distinguished Merit title. The DM title is only awarded to female cats with at least 5 titled offsprings. This is a very prestigious title and Fuji is the first Longhair Burmilla to gain this title in Australia.
Fuji's titled offsprings as at Nov 2010 are:
Gold Double Grand Champion, DM, Aaralyn Lotus Blossom
Double Grand Champion Aaralyn Lion Dance
Champion Aaralyn My Precious
Champion Aaralyn Scarlett Mimosa
Champion Aaralyn Ichi Ban Boshi
Fuji is a true semi-longhair Burmilla. Her coat is always impecable and does not mat or tangle easily.
Fuji gave birth to her first litter of 3 kittens in February 2007. All 3 kittens were of great type so we decided to keep 1 boy (Aaralyn Lion Dance (Simba)) and 1 girl (Aaralyn Lotus Blossom (Lotus)) for our breeding program.
Fuji retired from the show bench in 2008 after attaining her Gold Double Grand Champion title. She has now passed on her show baton to her beautiful sons and daughter and even grand children. Many of her progeny including Lotus, Simba, Mia, Mimi, Monet, Ochi and Boshi are all multi Best In Show winners.
Fuji continues to produce beautiful babies in 2009. Boshi from her latest litter is so gorgeous that we have to keep him for ourselves.
