Here are the pictures taken on Mothers' Day. My parents came over and they had a fantastic time with the kittens. As you can see my father won't let go of Simba his favourite cat. Click on the thumbnail below to load the entire gallery.
It is extremely sad for us that Millie Rose will be leaving us on Friday this week. Her new mummy will be picking her up and she will be much loved I am sure. She is such a sweetheart and I wish her a very happy life with the Little family

I had a lady call me today interested to know about the Burmilla's temperament. I was unable to meet with her today but I made a video of my beautiful MoMo. MoMo is a desexed male, 2 years old. He is really affectionate and is a fixture on my bed most nights.

Here are some new pics of the kittens today. As you can see I was in a bit of a hurry.
They are 9 weeks this week.

The kittens are 7 weeks this week. Havent they grown? For those who still don't know who is who, the kittens are now colour coded. Green is Simba, Pink is Lotus and Purple is Rose.

So here you go guys. Some kitten pics and videos that I took on 31 March (6 weeks) nothing professional just some shots I took cos I thought they looked cute on the cat tree. So sorry that I havent been updating this page for a while but life has been really hectic last week. However, I have taken some new glamour shots of the kittens. As you can see they are really growing up nicely.
I have also giving them official names. So subject to NSWCFA approval, the kittens will be named as follow:
The boy - Aaralyn Lion Dance
Pale girl - Aaralyn Lotus Blossom
Darker girl - Aaralyn Rambling Rose
At first I really wanted to give all the kittens plants and floral names but since the kittens were born on Chinese New Year, I have decided to go with the Asian theme. I know Rambling Rose isnt very Asian but it is a flower so it goes with my original theme. The boy is named Lion Dance because he is a little lion. We have been calling him Simba at home. Pale girl is just such a sweetheart, I have been calling her Lotus since the day she was born so I guess she is now officially Lotus. I have always wanted to call the darker girl rose but she is an active little thing and isnt really a traditional English rose. My dad is really good with botanical things so I asked him for advice. He suggest the name Rambling Rose andI thought that is perfect for little dark girl.

Hi again. I uploaded 3 new videos of the kittens on You Tube tonight. As you can see they are now really active and so adorable!
18 March 2007
The kittens are 4 weeks old today. I took some pictures of them on Friday night and today so here they are.
As you can see, all the kittens are now walking confidently. This is Fuji' nightmare as she is really a control freak and wants to know where the kittens are at all times. She is also starting to feel lonely as she has been staying with her kittens most of the time over the past few weeks while her friends have been busy sunning themselves on the balcony!
When I am in the house she refuses to stay in the kitten room by herself and will start to pick up each and every kitten and move them into my room so she can sit with me but of course minding the kittens at the same time. I have stopped fighting with her today and as you can see I have now set up a small pen inside my room so she can be with me and the kittens and more importanly her best friend MoMo.
MoMo: Hey what is this contraption?
MoMo what a fluffy tail you have!!!!

The kittens are 3 weeks old today. You can really see that they have changed cant you? They are really cute now. All of them are trying to climb out of the bed and Fuji is getting concerned.
The kittens' coat has lighten up even further.
Tummy rub pleasssssssssssssss!!
Hello, are you talking to me?
I am so cute!!
What is my weight?

4 March 2007
I had some spare time today and thought that I should do a glamour shoot with the kittens before they get too big. They were really well behaved. I let Fuji out so she could sunbath while the kittens had their photo shoot.
The pale girl is the one on her own. The boy and the other girl were together when the photos were taken. You can see that their coat is already starting to lighten up.
Too lazy to update the weight chart today, will do it tomorrow.

The kittens' eyes are now opened. Here are some pics of each kitten.
We are now pretty sure that we have 2 girls and 1 boy. 1 girl will be kept for breeding and deposit on the 2nd girl will be arriving shortly so we now only have 1 boy available for sale. Emails will be sent out in week 5 for those who are interested in taking the boy.

New kitten pics as promised. As you can see the kittens have grown slightly larger and their coat is starting to lighten up.
Fuji is also looking a little more respectful in these pics as she has been grooming herself frantically before this photo shoot. She was told last week that she had pink paws from giving birth so she tried her hardest to look immaculate in these new pictures.
27 February 2007
The kittens are now 1 week old. They are doing extremely well. All of them have gained weight. If you go to their weight chart you will see that they have gained a total of 76g to 89g this week.
At this stage we think we have 2 girls and 1 boy. One of the girls is the lighter coloured one and the other girl is darker. The boy is also a darker kitten.
I am inclined to keep the lighter girl so there are 2 kittens for sale - 1 girl and 1 boy.
All the other cats have now met the new kittens. Fuji has been extremely relaxed with having the other boys around. MoMo is now the male nurse. He has been sitting with Fuji and the kittens all day today. I will be leaving him with Fuji while the kittens are growing up. It will be nice to have 2 older cats to crack the whip and keep the kittens in check.
New photos will follow on around Thursday when I have a bit more time on my hands.

Happy Chinese New Year!!
Fuji's finally gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens today and they are all doing very well indeed. At the point in time, I think they are all black shaded but I am not sure what sex they are yet.
All the kittens look pretty dark at the moment but they will lighten up considerably as they grow up. Their silver undercoat will fill out and the dark colour will move to the end of the hair shaft giving a more shaded look.
9 February 2007
Fuji went for her final x ray a few days ago. This time very clearly we can see 3 kittens insider her now very big tummy. We still think that she will be due from 15 - 21 February 2007 so we are all very excited here.
1 February 2007
Fuji came home on 18 December 2006. Because she had been with Amadeus for such a long period of time, it was very hard for us to estimate her due date. An x-ray was done on her on 22 January 2007 and we could bearly see 2 kittens on one side of her womb so we estimate that she would only be around 5 to 6 weeks pregant at the time.
We feel that it is unusal for a mother cat to carry all her kittens on one side of her womb so we expect there to be more than the 2 kittens we saw. Perhaps the other kittens present had not properly calcified at the time the x-ray was done as they could be a few days younger and because of that they were not picked up by the x-ray.
According to the x-ray, we estimate her due date to be around 15 - 21 February 2007.
We had a small photo shoot with her last night. Here is one of the photos.
